The Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Environment, the
National Legislation Assembly, led by Admiral Wallop Kerdphol, Chairman of the
Committee, received a document from Mr. Charlie Somsuay, Farmer Representative and the group, requesting for fairness and investigation
and compensation for the damage in the case of dead fish in the farm in Moon River, in the area of Pho Sai and Pho Si Sub-district in
Phibunmangsahan District and Tan Sum Sub-District in Tan Sum District, Ubon Ratchathani Province because of the opening of the floodgates
dam of the Dome Yai Dam above the Moon River which was closed due to the sewage problem.

The Secretariat of the Senate organized a training to develop 25 new
government officers who were appointed to their position in year 2015. Mrs. Norarut
Pimsen, Secretary-General of the Senate, presided over the opening ceremony and
deliver a speech.
